The Ed and Martha Wright Swivel Shank Hackamore provides more options as far as movement between the horse and riders hands, as compared to other Ed and Martha Wright Hackamores.

Because the shank has a swivel effect it allows for an additional side to side movement of the shanks allowing for some lateral movement whereas the other hackamores are mostly a vertical (yes and no type) movement.

Hackamores should hang low on the bridge of the nose just above the soft part of the nostril to be most effective. Curb chains should be adjusted properly and about 2 fingers should be able to slide between it and your horse. If its too loose or too tight it effects how the hackamore is working on your horse making it obsolete.

Handmade in the USA.

Ed and Martha Wright bit orders are temporarily suspended. For any questions, please contact Martha at mcwright1230@outlook.com
